Swindon Town Locks Up Forward Glatzel with New Three-Year Deal

Swindon Town has secured the future of their forward Paul Glatzel by extending his contract until the summer of 2029. The move ensures that the club retains a key player in their League Two squad, who has been instrumental since joining Swindon in January 2024.

Glatzel's Journey with Swindon Town

Paul Glatzel, a former Liverpool academy product, made his debut for Swindon Town in January 2024. Since then, he has become an integral part of the team, making 92 appearances and scoring 17 goals while providing 14 assists. Despite missing the latter half of last season due to a hamstring injury, Glatzel is now back in full fitness for this campaign.

Glatzel's contributions have not gone unnoticed. He recently scored twice in a friendly match against Forest Green Rovers and added another goal in Swindon's 3-2 loss at Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup last week. His performances continue to bolster Swindon Town's attacking options and strengthen their position in League Two.

The extension of Glatzel's contract is a testament to his value to the team, as well as the club’s commitment to building a competitive squad for the future.
