Swindon Supermarine beat Didcot Town 3-1 in the FA Cup, their fifth straight win. The match, played before almost 400 spectators at Didcot’s ground, saw Marine score early and then concede three goals.
Early Lead
The hosts struck first six minutes in. Jordan Graham and JP Nyusemo’s interplay released Owen James, who finished confidently into the far corner. The goal came after a quick break that caught the former Swindon Town goalkeeper Leigh Bedwell off guard.
Turnaround
Five minutes later, a long throw from Zach Rugman was only partially cleared. Brad Hooper seized the loose ball, driving a powerful low shot inside Bedwell’s left‑hand post to level the score. Marine completed the turnaround on the half‑hour when Sal Abubakar was fouled inside the penalty area. He converted the resulting penalty himself, sending Bedwell the wrong way.
Red Card and Final Surge
The complexion of the tie changed midway through the second half when Didcot defender Luke Carnell was shown a red card after fouling Dan Warre in an aerial challenge. Marine capitalised on their numerical advantage after 76 minutes, with Tyger Hall producing an excellent overhead kick that sailed beyond Bedwell to make it 3‑1.

Defenders Ollie Case and Jowan Partridge were particularly impressive at the heart of the defence.
