Swindon Town made a trio of signings in the week leading up to the Cardiff game, with Joseph Hungbo and Sam Inwood both making their debuts. The loan pair both made strong first impressions, especially Hungbo, who assisted Paul Glatzel's goal with an exceptional cross.
Holloway was full of praise for his new signings and for his scouting department for unearthing players with the ability he needed. He said: "Joseph and Sam Inwood haven't had enough minutes, so we have got to tickle them through. But they absolutely showed why we signed them, so well done to the scouting network for giving me what I needed."
