Swindon Town will try to snap a three-game losing streak when they host Newport County in the EFL Trophy group stage on Tuesday evening.
The Robins, who sit 13th in League Two with 10 points from seven games, have lost their last three matches in all competitions, most recently a 1-0 defeat at Salford City last Saturday.
That run includes a 2-1 home loss to Crystal Palace's Under-21s in the previous EFL Trophy group game, leaving their progress in the competition in need of a positive result.
Newport County arrive at the County Ground without a win in their last five outings, having drawn their last two League Two matches 0-0 at Accrington Stanley and 1-1 at home to Fleetwood Town.
Manager Gavin Gunning is expected to make changes to his side for the cup tie, with striker Aaron Drinan likely to lead the line. Drinan is the club's top scorer this season with 22 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions.
Swindon's focus will then quickly turn back to the league, with a home game against Accrington Stanley scheduled for this Saturday.
